“Making Money with iThemes” is a training session from the November LIVE Event (2011) in Oklahoma City. Watch the 20 minute video for some great ways to use your affiliate links to generate more commissions.

A couple of notes:

In the video I refer to the “panda lady” – this is the “sales chat” icon (a panda) located on the main website pages.
The video also references two other sessions on trends and how to make money by providing specific services. These videos are available to people who attended the LIVE training, and to members of WebDesign.com on the November LIVE Event page. (You will need to log in to WebDesign.com to view the videos.)
When providing financial examples I reference a discount that was only available at the LIVE Event. We usually offer a hefty discount that can be used while attending our LIVE events, which is a great incentive to attend.

Gravity Forms Premium Training – Accelerate Your Affiliate Earnings

On June 22nd & 23rd (next Wed. & Thurs.) WebDesign.com is offering a Premium Training on how to use Gravity Forms.

This is a GREAT training about a fantastic plugin that we use ourselves, here at the iThemes family of companies. We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Gravity Forms team to bring this special training to the WordPress community.

What’s great about this for our affiliates?

First, there are 2 ways to earn commissions.

1. On the Gravity Forms Premium Training itself.
While the fee for the training is low in order to encourage participation, you will still earn the regular 25% on the registration fee. Every dollar counts.

2. When people upgrade from the Gravity Forms Training to the full WebDesign.com Premium Annual Membership.
We have a strong track record of converting people from a lower price-point training to the full premium membership. The conversion rate ranges from 40-60%. That’s great news for you, especially since we give a people a deadline for upgrading at a discounted rate.

That means all you have to do is get people to the signup page for the Gravity Forms Training, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Below is a video showing you how to access your specific affiliate link to send people directly to the sales page for the premium training. You are welcome to use your default affiliate link, but sending them to the exact page will make it easier – and more likely – for them to sign up.

Affiliate Training Webinar – April 21, 2011

Who turns to you for advice when it comes to technology, web design, and/or working with WordPress.
What affiliate strategies have been the most effective for you in the past? (Twitter? Facebook? Emails? Personal contact? etc.)

Using iThemes Builder Child Themes to Promote Affiliate Sales

It’s not as hard as you think! And being able to give something away to your readers who purchase through your affiliate link is a GREAT way to increase sales and build loyalty!
